Star Wars Zero Company 1.1 Patch Notes and Known Issues
What patch 1.1 fixed: hit chance, Overwatch, the Bacta Tank and saves. Plus the older-GPU optimisation step and the player reports that are still unconfirmed.

Patch 1.1 is the first major update after launch, released on 9 September 2026. It touches three things you feel immediately: combat rules, save safety in Beskar Mode, and framerate on older graphics cards.
What changed in combat
- A 100% hit chance now actually hits. The patch fixes shots that missed despite showing a 100% chance. If you plan a turn around the number on screen, you should get the result it promises.
- Overwatch no longer fires at anything. Reaction shots no longer trigger against units outside the targeting cone or through solid obstacles. EA also notes that some Overwatch triggering issues may still remain.
- The Bacta Tank is once per Cycle. Healing is tighter than it was.
- Secondary specializations gate Cross Training behind Relationship +8. They also now count correctly when an Operation tests specialization requirements.
- Weapon numbers were corrected. Tier 2–4 Scatterguns no longer use Tier 1 values, Ion Blasters no longer double their critical damage, and the DC-17m anti-armour shot can receive the critical and grenade damage bonuses it should.
Save and reward fixes
These are the ones that protect a campaign, especially in Beskar Mode where a single save holds everything and one crash can cost you the run.
- Multiple crash causes and visual stutters were fixed.
- Beskar Mode saves that were temporarily deleted are fixed, along with a crash specific to Beskar Mode.
- Save corruption from sudden or forced shutdowns is fixed.
- Players who never received their pre-order or Deluxe Edition items are fixed. If yours went missing, check your inventory again after updating.
- Editing characters in the Databank while the game was saving no longer corrupts them.
How to bring framerate back on an older GPU
The patch notes include a section aimed at minimum-spec players. If you run a minimum-spec Nvidia GTX 10-series or RTX 20-series card, set Options → Graphics → Environment Geometry Detail to Off. That lowers geometry processing overhead and stabilises framerate.
EA also updated the minimum suggested driver messaging, so install the current Nvidia or AMD game-ready driver first.
What is still open on the official forum
The items below are player reports on the official EA forum. They are not confirmed fixes and not everyone hits them: PS5 trophies not unlocking after finishing the game, a PS5 save error when creating custom characters, PS5 cutscene freezes, the character Visser stuck outside the map and unable to progress, and soft locks in some combat encounters.
If you hit one, report it through the channels in the official FAQ and include your platform and save details.
