The Infinite Coil is the main enemy organisation in STAR WARS Zero Company. EA’s official enemy page describes it as a paramilitary cult allied with the Separatist cause and led by Kundri Fathom. Every member, including Fathom, is infected with the mysterious Shadow Plague.

What it is

The Infinite Coil is not simply another Separatist droid force. Three things are confirmed in the official description:

  • It is a paramilitary cult allied with the Separatist cause.
  • Kundri Fathom leads it, and its members show unwavering loyalty to her.
  • It attacks vulnerable populations across Republic worlds, and the plague and the organisation both spread further as it takes more worlds.

Why the Shadow Plague matters

EA confirms one thing only: the Shadow Plague is believed to give infected people unusual resilience and lethal capabilities. The enemy overview publishes no complete infection mechanism, no numbers and no combat rules.

Treat it as a story-level threat running through the campaign. Do not build damage figures, resistances, spread probabilities or boss phases on top of it.

Where Kundri Fathom’s record stops

StarWars.com’s Databank keeps the question deliberately open: some believe she uses the Force, others think she is simply a convincing fraud.

What is confirmed is her infection and the Infinite Coil’s absolute loyalty to her. Whether she genuinely uses the Force remains an official open question rather than a confirmed skill.

The final trailer confirms Zero Company’s objective — find Fathom and end the threat — and shows action and combat footage, but no complete mission order and no endings. It is not a campaign route.

Why it is the final mission

The Infinite Coil is the last mission of the campaign and a point of no return. Once you enter, you cannot go back to The Den for other activities.

Killing Fathom leads straight into the ending cutscene: the parasite detaches from her body and dies, and the Shadow Plague ends with it. There is no second phase and no hidden survival check. The campaign then moves into the EPILOGUE, whose only required task is talking to Bennic to conclude the adventure. The full closing sequence is in the endings guide.
