STAR WARS Zero Company Characters and Squad Members
Understand what Hawks, Authored Operators, Custom Operators, The Den staff, and the Infinite Coil each contribute to the campaign.

The roster has five useful groups: Hawks, Authored Operators, Custom Operators, non-combat personnel at The Den, and the Infinite Coil opposition. The distinction tells you what can be customized, how a character joins, and where that character matters in the campaign.
What each group is
- Hawks: the customizable former Galactic Republic officer who leads Zero Company.
- Authored Operators: story recruits with fixed identities and backstories, including Trick, Tel-Rea, Clay, Luco, Jay, and Kabu.
- Custom Operators: recruits created or selected by the player, with editable identity and combat options.
- The Den personnel: staff who support recruitment, treatment, facilities, equipment, and planning rather than filling every combat slot.
- The Infinite Coil: the cult led by Kundri Fathom and the central opposing force.
Why the distinction matters
Authored characters carry personal stories and can react to campaign choices. Custom Operators give you more control over appearance, specialization, and gear. Deploying teammates together develops Bonds and can unlock Cross Training, so roster management affects both combat and relationships.
How to use this roster page
Check an authored profile for confirmed story information, and use the character-creation page for recruiting Custom Operators. Do not treat a named character’s reveal as a complete skill table or unlock order: official launch material does not publish every field.
